ETI Basic Terms and Conditions

This document was amended on April 1, 2014, with the amendments to Article 6 that no working hours are excessive.
1. Employees shall be elected in accordance with their free will.

2. The right to trade unions and collective bargaining is recognized.

2.3 Workers' representatives are not discriminated against and are allowed to enter the workplace in order to perform their functions and duties.
2.4 Where the right of trade unions and collective bargaining is restricted by law, the development of parallel practices by the employer for independent and free trade unions and collective bargaining shall be facilitated and prevented.
3. Working Conditions must be safe and healthy
3.1 A safe and healthy working environment shall be ensured by taking general information in the field of industry and any special hazards specific to the work into consideration. Appropriate measures will be taken to prevent accidents and injuries and to minimize the health risks exposed in the particular work environment.

3.2 Workers will receive regular health and safety training and will be repeated for workers who have started or assigned to a new post.
3.3 Clean toilet facilities and potable water shall be provided for use, and sanitary facilities for the storage of foodstuffs, if any, shall be provided.
3.4 If accommodation is provided, it shall be ensured that this area is clean and safe and that it is arranged to meet the basic needs of the workers.
3.5 Having regard to these basic terms and conditions, the company shall designate a senior management representative as health and safety officer.

4. Child labor is not used
4.1 No new child labor shall be hired.

5. Salary payment is sufficient to make a living
5.1 Salaries and benefits for a standard working week shall be at least at the level of official national standards or indicative standards in the field of industry, whichever is higher. In any case, however, salaries must be at a level where they can always meet the basic needs of workers and make some voluntary additional expenditures.
5.2 All workers shall be provided with written and easy-to-understand information on the conditions of employment for their salaries and details of their salaries for each time period they receive payment before starting work.
5.3 No salary deduction shall be applicable as a disciplinary penalty or no deduction shall be made from salaries without the express and clear permission of the worker concerned, unless stipulated by national laws and laws. All disciplinary measures should be recorded.

6. Working hours should not exceed
6.1 Working hours must be in accordance with national laws, collective bargaining agreements and the conditions and conditions set out in Article 6.6 below, whichever is the case, which provides more free time for workers.
6.2 With the exception of overtime, working hours shall be defined by contract and the total number of working hours per week shall not exceed 48 hours. *

6.3 All overtime work shall be carried out in accordance with the principle of free will and volunteering. 6.4 The total number of working hours in any seven-day period shall not exceed 60 hours, with the exception of the special cases referred to in point 6.5 below.
6.5 However, in special cases where the following conditions are met, the total number of working hours in any seven-day period may exceed 60 hours:
* Allowing such practice under national law;
* Allowing such a practice according to the collective bargaining agreement with the free trade union, which represents a significant part of the labor force;
* Taking all necessary measures to protect the health and safety of workers; and
* Such exceptional overtime may be provided, provided that the employer proves that such an application is necessary due to unexpected production increases, accidents or emergencies.
6.6 Workers shall be allowed at least one day in each seven-day period or two days in each 14-day period, if permitted by the relevant national law.
* International standards recommend that, as far as possible, the total number of normal weekly working hours should be gradually reduced to 40 hours without any salary reduction as working hours are reduced.

7. No discrimination
7.1 Due to race, nationality, social class, religion, age, disability, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, trade union membership or political relations, in recruitment, payments, participation in training services, promotion practices, dismissal or retirement No one is discriminated against.
8. Regular employment is provided
8.1 As far as practicable, the work is carried out on the basis of the applicable employment relationship established by national law and practice.
8.2 The employer is obliged to work against his employees, resulting from a regular employment relationship, or to fulfill his obligations under social security laws and regulations, and neither through the use of contracted labor or the use of labor or home work arrangements provided by a contractor or Through the practice of providing apprenticeship training where there is no real intention to provide, nor by excessive use of time-constrained employment contracts, the employer cannot avoid the obligation to fulfill these obligations.
9. No very aggressive or inhuman treatment is allowed
9.1 Prohibition of physical violence or disciplinary action, threat of physical violence, sexual abuse or other abusive behavior or intimidation or intimidation in any form of verbal bullying or other means is strictly prohibited.
The provisions set forth in these terms and conditions are strictly minimum requirements, not maximum, and should never be used to prevent companies from exceeding these standards.
